The Conservation Commission may have no more than seven full members and an unspecified number of alternate members. All members, whether full or alternate, must be residents of Hollis. The Board of Selectmen appoints all full and alternate members. Typically, but not necessarily, terms are for three years or for the remainder of an unexpired term.

Full Members

Full members vote in matters that require Conservation Commission votes such as expenditure of Commission funds, recommendations to the Planning Board on development issues, and similar matters. Full members of the Hollis Conservation Commission include:

Tom Dufresne, Chair

Susan Durham, Vice Chair

Thom Davies, Treasurer

Richard Brown, Secretary

Lynne Simonfy

Lloyd Deenik

Alternate Members

Alternate members vote only when the Chair selects them to vote at a Conservation Commission meeting, typically in order to make a quorum for the meeting. Even so, alternate members can and do make substantial contributions to Conservation Commission projects. Alternate members of the Conservation Commission include:

Carl Hills

Jim Oehler (webmaster)

Gary Flaherty

Ray Lindsay

Planning Board Representative

Cathy Hoffman

Selectmen's Representative

Mark Johnson
